We’re looking for a sharp, execution-focused Amazon Inventory and Supply Chain Manager to fully own inventory planning and inbound logistics across multiple Amazon brands. This is a high-ownership role, not clerical. You’ll be responsible for keeping us in stock, protecting cash flow, and ensuring product moves efficiently from suppliers to Amazon FBA.
You’ll work closely with Brand Managers, Finance, and Operations and are expected to make decisions, not just report numbers.
What You’ll Own
Inventory Planning & Control
- Own SKU-level inventory planning across all brands and marketplaces.
- Prevent stockouts and overstock while supporting aggressive growth targets.
- Build demand forecasts tied to sales plans, seasonality, promotions, and launch cycles.
- Track Amazon storage fees and inventory aging and proactively reduce risk.
- Maintain clean, accurate inventory data and projections.
Amazon FBA & Inbound Operations
- Create and manage FBA shipments end to end.
- Ensure compliance with Amazon FBA requirements, labeling, carton content, and appointments.
- Monitor inbound performance and resolve shortages, delays, and receiving issues.
- Coordinate AWD, LTL, FTL, and ocean shipments based on urgency and cost.
Supply Chain & Logistics
- Manage end-to-end logistics from China to Amazon warehouses.
- Optimize shipment methods to balance speed, cost, and working capital.
- Work with freight forwarders to negotiate rates and improve transit timelines.
- Continuously reduce landed costs without increasing operational risk.
Supplier Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers on production timelines, readiness, and shipment scheduling.
- Identify risks early, delays, MOQ pressure, quality issues, capacity constraints.
- Align production and reorders with inventory forecasts and cash flow.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze sales velocity, sell-through, lead times, and forecast accuracy.
- Turn raw data into clear insights and recommendations, not just spreadsheets.
- Produce weekly and monthly inventory and supply chain reports leadership can act on.
- Surface issues early and push solutions forward without waiting for approval.
Systems & Process Ownership
- Own inventory and supply chain workflows inside ClickUp and spreadsheets.
- Improve existing processes and build new ones where gaps exist.
- Partner with Finance and Ops to ensure inventory data ties cleanly into reporting.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience managing Amazon FBA inventory and inbound logistics.
- Strong understanding of inventory planning, replenishment cycles, and Amazon constraints.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, forecasting, modeling, scenario analysis.
- Experience shipping from China to the US using ocean freight, LTL, and FTL.
- ERP experience preferred (Odoo, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large datasets and spot trends.
- High ownership mentality. You take responsibility when things break and fix them.
- Clear communicator who works well with Brand, Finance, and Operations.
Nice to Have
- Experience managing seasonal or fast-moving SKUs.
- Familiarity with ClickUp or similar workflow tools.
- Experience supporting multi-brand or multi-marketplace operations.
This role directly impacts revenue, rankings, and cash flow. When inventory is right, the business scales cleanly. We’re looking for someone who understands that and wants full ownership of the outcome.
