Schedule: Monday–Friday | 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40

Position Overview

A reputable healthcare organization is seeking an Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time contract assignment within an outpatient clinical setting. The RN will provide patient-centered care, support clinical operations, and ensure high-quality service delivery in accordance with professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an outpatient/ambulatory care environment.

• Conduct patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and document clinical data accurately.

• Administer medications and perform clinical procedures within RN scope of practice.

• Assist with treatments, diagnostic testing, and coordination of patient flow.

• Support physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and minor procedures.

• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, medications, and follow-up care.

• Maintain patient safety, uphold infection-control standards, and follow all clinical protocols.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.

• Perform other nursing duties as assigned based on departmental needs.

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License (Required).

• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience (Ambulatory Care or outpatient preferred).

• Current BLS certification (Required).

• Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Excellent communication, patient interaction, and documentation skills.

• EMR experience preferred.
