Shift: Nights M-F 3pm-11:30pm
Join our team and play a critical role in keeping our facilities running safely and efficiently! You'll be hands-on with mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration equipment to ensure smooth operations across the facility.What You'll Do:
Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and facility structures following leadership instructions and company safety standards.
Perform physical inspections, calibration, preventative maintenance, and repairs on all mechanical and electrical assets impacting facility operations and grounds.
Inspect and perform repairs on refrigeration systems, with a strong focus on ammonia, Freon, and CO2 systems.
Maintain and repair material handling equipment per manufacturer and company guidelines to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Keep accurate records of inspections, evaluations, and preventive maintenance procedures, and communicate key updates to leadership daily.
Operate power tools, cutting torches, welding equipment, motorized lifts, and rental equipment as needed.
Take on other tasks as assigned to support facility operations.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 1 year of experience (or a combination of experience and trade school) in building maintenance, material handling equipment, or refrigeration maintenance, with hands-on ammonia refrigeration experience strongly preferred.
Ability to complete preventative maintenance with guidance and minimal supervision.
Proficient with hand and power tools, including cutting and welding equipment.
Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities across all levels of the facility.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
Comfortable working in temperatures ranging from -20°F/-25°C in cold storage to 100°F/37°C in dry storage, wearing PPE and freezer gear.
Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs./23 kgs. (weight may vary by facility).
Flexible with work schedules and shifts, including weekends as needed.
Comfortable with varying noise levels and working at heights in some locations.
