About Company & Role Purpose

A leading food and beverage company is seeking an Analogues Beverage Powder Development Engineer to develop and improve analogue beverage powder formulations in terms of composition, quality, taste, stability, and nutritional value, in compliance with market needs and safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

General

· Develop formulations for analogue beverage powders.

· Conduct laboratory trials and quality, stability, and sensory tests.

· Improve solubility, texture, color, and flavor properties.

· Select and evaluate raw materials and suppliers.

· Collaborate with quality, production, and marketing teams.

· Scale up formulations from laboratory to industrial production.

· Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.

· Prepare technical reports and document development processes.

BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in product development, preferably in beverage powders, dairy alternatives, or analogues.

· Strong knowledge of food ingredients, stabilizers, emulsifiers, and flavor systems.

· Experience with laboratory equipment and sensory evaluation techniques.

· Understanding of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, GMP).

· Experience in scaling up formulations from lab to production is preferred.

Skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in formulation and documentation.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.

· Creativity and innovation in developing new products and improving existing ones.

· Proficiency in MS Office and technical reporting.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Knowledge of food regulations and labeling requirements is a plus.
