This is not a traditional analyst role.

As an Analyst at Martin Healthcare Advisors (MHA), you will be a critical force multiplier for our Consulting and M&A teams. Your work will directly impact client outcomes, deal execution, valuation, and our reputation as the leading advisory firm in outpatient rehabilitation. Role Summary

The Analyst provides analytical, financial, operational, and transactional support across MHA’s Consulting and M&A engagements. This role requires strong financial acumen, exceptional organization, and the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously. Analysts are trusted with sensitive information, client-facing deliverables, and time-critical projects that demand accuracy and follow-through.

I. Distinguishing Characteristics of Work:

This position requires a highly responsible and reliable analyst and business development work involving analytical support to the Consulting and Mergers & Acquisitions (“M&A”) functions of MHA.

II. Analyst Duties:

1.     Creation and maintenance of financial reports for clients, including financial forecasts and recasts, budgets and other financial templates

2.     Creation and maintenance of operations reports for clients, including operations budgets and other operations support templates

3.     Creation and maintenance of valuation and assessment reports for clients and prospects, including calculations of value, preliminary and follow-up business assessments

4.     Creation of M&A Transaction documents for clients preparing to go to market, including Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), Teasers and Management Meeting Materials

5.     Development of operations, financial and marketing-related tools for clients and communicate to clients

6.     Preparation, updates and maintenance of all Consulting and Preparatory M&A reports and templates

7.     Prepare, follow-up and advise clients and prospects on initial data requests related to report, assessment and tool preparation and development

8.     Prepare and maintain preliminary M&A due diligence packages

9.     Maintain a log of all Analyst projects and timeframes for completion

10.  Update and maintain projects and Consulting lists within MHA’s CRM tool, and correspondence with clients

11.  Manage account and relationship associated with mapping software utilized by MHA

12.  Update, organize and maintain industry acquirer map statistics

13.  Update, organize and maintain industry deal statistics and buyer lists

14.  Update and maintain MHA Consulting and M&A statistics

15.  Update and maintain internal Consulting and Preparatory M&A presentation templates

III. Specific Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

1.     Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications

2.     Demonstrated competencies relative to use of Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI (preferred)

3.     Demonstrated competencies relative to use of QuickBooks

4.     Demonstrated competencies relative to use of Dropbox

5.     General knowledge of database development and management

6.     Developed knowledge of MHA processes within CRM tool

7.     Excellent organization and communication skills with ability to interact within and outside the organization.

IV. Location / Schedule

1.     Remote with expected travel to team meetings and events up to two (2) to three (3) times a year

2.     Ability to travel to clients and prospects as necessary and requested

V. Minimum Training and Experience:

1.     Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred from an accredited college

2.     Minimum one (1) to three (3) years of experience in management consulting, corporate development, M&A advisory or a similar financial or accounting-related role
