Job overview and responsibilities

This role leads the Business Office team, overseeing key operational functions including NOC Facilities, Resource Planning, Staffing modeling, and Employee Dependability. As the direct manager of cross-functional employees within the Business Office, this role is responsible for ensuring that internal processes run efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with company standards. The supervisor acts as both a leader and coach, providing direction, development, and performance oversight to team members. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, an operational mindset, and a commitment to supporting business needs across multiple departments. Lead and manage the Business Office team responsible for Resource Planning, Staffing Modeling and Employee Dependability functions

  • Oversees integrated business functions including labor resource planning and employee dependability, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational continuity.
  • Acts as a central liaison between Business Office operations and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues and support business needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process evaluation and implementation of best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations across all business office functions
  • Management of direct reports/dotted line reports, comms, reviews, knowledge skills and abilities sharing/development, coaching, etc.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized process to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Analyze trends in staffing utilization, overtime, and shift coverage to identify optimization and process improvement opportunities.


Note: This position is located at the Arlington Heights Support Center located in Arlington Heights, IL and considered as a hybrid role working 3 days in-office, however that may evolve with the needs of the company.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):


  • High school diploma or equivalentHigh school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of airline operational experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills to all employee levels
  • Strong skills in MS Office tools - Excel, Power point and PowerBi "
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build consensus and relationships across the organization
  • Provide leadership to the direct reports to ensure accomplishment of goals set by the management team
  • Willing and able to travel up to 50%
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of finance/accounting experience
  • 2+ years of resource planning experience
  • 2+ years of team leading experience


The base pay range for this role is $64,885.00 to $84,514.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
