Job Description
Working as part of our Cost of Sales Operations function, you'll support the scheme and interchange fees reconciliation of Card Schemes and other acquiring channels. Evolving in a high-pace and dynamic environment, meticulous attention to detail will be the key.
The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and laser-focused individual who is highly numerate and enjoys working with large and intricate datasets. You must be a great teammate when it comes to getting the job done whilst maintaining accuracy and quality of output.
How you’ll make an impact:
Be Checkout.com’s subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders on Card Payment Interchange fees
You should be well conversant with interchange fee programs across all regions checkout operates (MENA, APAC, US, EU)
Assist on aspects of interchange and scheme fees mapping including business case, impact analysis and development for new fees and existing fees updates
Translate upcoming interchange fees updates into business requirements and implement these in Checkout.com pricing engine accurately and within deadline
Investigate, action and report on any anomalies identified during the reconciliation process
Participate in creation and maintenance of dashboards on interchange fees performance and key metrics for management
Provide optimisation recommendations to management based on interchange fees being charged
Review and promptly attend to queries from internal / external stakeholders with regards to interchange and scheme fees
Participate in interchange fee implementation of new regions Checkout is operating by defining the key requirements and system changes required to onboard the region
Review and promptly attend to requests through Checkout.com ticketing system
Participate in the development, optimisation & documentation of business processes
Implement scheme mandates related to interchange fee on time by ensuring the proper documentation, testing are done within the timeframe.
Consistently improve existing reconciliation processes to scale, introducing new controls and minimising need for manual effort in routine tasks
Participate actively in project work and product initiatives
Perform analyses to identify scheme fees optimisation opportunities for Checkout.com
Work closely with the Pricing function to review fees and provide recommendations
