How will you make an impact in this role?
Analyzes and determines information needs and elements, data relationships and attributes, data flow, and data output and reporting capabilities
Coordinates new data development and ensures consistency and integration with the existing data warehouse structure
Creates Tableau dashboards that provide the ability to answer a variety of questions quickly and efficiently
Reviews business requests for data and data usage
Articulates user stories and use cases for data requests
Meets regularly with internal stakeholders to determine analytical needs and translates requirements into ready to use dashboards, reports, and/or other analytics resources
Participates in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality
Coordinates and participates in the testing of new data models and analytical tools
Creates, updates and maintains of documentation for data dictionaries, dashboards, and other analytical tools
Provides analytical support to ongoing projects and ad hoc data requests
Minimum Qualifications
Expertise and demonstrated experience in Tableau
Very strong SQL skills and proficiency in a scripting language (Python or R) for data analysis
Demonstrated expertise building interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau or similar software
Familiarity with statistical methods and concepts
Experience working with large datasets, including planning, conducting, interpreting, and explaining the outcomes of data analyses
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, engineering, math, science, economics, etc).
Demonstrated ability to learn new things – new techniques, tools and approaches to solve questions
