How will you make an impact in this role?
- Analyzes and determines information needs and elements, data relationships and attributes, data flow, and data output and reporting capabilities
- Coordinates new data development and ensures consistency and integration with the existing data warehouse structure
- Creates Tableau dashboards that provide the ability to answer a variety of questions quickly and efficiently
- Reviews business requests for data and data usage
- Articulates user stories and use cases for data requests
- Meets regularly with internal stakeholders to determine analytical needs and translates requirements into ready to use dashboards, reports, and/or other analytics resources
- Participates in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality
- Coordinates and participates in the testing of new data models and analytical tools
- Creates, updates and maintains of documentation for data dictionaries, dashboards, and other analytical tools
- Provides analytical support to ongoing projects and ad hoc data requests
- Expertise and demonstrated experience in Tableau
- Very strong SQL skills and proficiency in a scripting language (Python or R) for data analysis
- Demonstrated expertise building interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau or similar software
- Familiarity with statistical methods and concepts
- Experience working with large datasets, including planning, conducting, interpreting, and explaining the outcomes of data analyses
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, engineering, math, science, economics, etc).
- Demonstrated ability to learn new things – new techniques, tools and approaches to solve questions
