What You'll Do

A hands-on, commercially focused financial analyst role working with the Contracting team located in Mumbai and Gurgaon. The role requires the individual to work in a collaborative manner with the Manager, the consultants and partners. The candidate will work with the Manager and have responsibility for Pricing and contract management, reporting and analysis on key business and client-based metrics. The role supports the Commercial Manager in the area of contract, pricing and financial management of projects by ensuring the BCGs contracting, and revenue recognition policies are adhered to and providing timely and meaningful analysis of key metrics.

Business Partnering -

• Help the business with pricing and commercial analysis on deals.
• Work with legal teams to ensure that commercial and legal terms are as per BCG policies in RFPs and contracts.
• Drive the commercial performance of the operations, providing insightful analysis and support to achieve this.
• Assist the Commercial Manager in preparation of materials to support discussions between System Leader, HoF and local partner group on the direction and performance of the operation
• Managing internal pipeline/sales activity tracking system and keeping it robust.
• Providing ad hoc information and analysis as and when required and be part of identifying and implementing improvement initiatives.
• Improving constantly the information systems based on SAP database
• Liaise with the region as appropriate.

Risk Management and Compliance -

• Ensures appropriate local & global business policies are in place, monitored and adhered to.
• Assist in client negotiations and contracting directly or through teaming with appropriate experts and legal team, ensuring enforcement of world-wide contracting and pricing policies.
• Help Commercial Manager in managing and running adequate systems of internal control and ensure compliance with local tax, legal, and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist Commercial manager to run local and global compliance process.

What You'll Bring

• Business degree, preferably with emphasis on Finance/Accounting and professionally qualified – CA / MBA with 2 years’ and should have experience in Commercial finance role such as pricing, negotiation, contracting, analysis and commercial support, financial systems implementation.
• Willing to take a hands-on approach and able to excel in a large international company culture
• Good excel skills
• Very fluent in communication and comfortable communicating with the senior most leadership team either at the local or global level
