Scope and Responsibilities
The Analyst will support the preparation and delivery of financial reporting for the firm’s corporate entities. The role will assist in preparing financial statements, consolidation schedules, and debt covenant reporting while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
The Analyst will contribute to the financial close process, consolidation activities, and reporting deliverables, while maintaining strong documentation and control practices.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Financial Reporting

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.

Support preparation of financial statements including:

Profit & Loss Statement

Cash Flow Statement
-
Supporting disclosures and schedules
-
Prepare detailed working papers supporting financial statement balances and reporting outputs.

Assist in analysing financial results and investigating variances where required.
Consolidation of Financial Statements
-
Support preparation of consolidated financial statements across multiple entities.

Prepare consolidation schedules and supporting documentation.
-
Assist with elimination entries and consolidation adjustments.

Perform intercompany reconciliations and investigate differences.
-
Ensure completeness and consistency of financial data used in consolidation.
Debt Covenant Reporting

Support preparation of debt covenant calculations and related reporting schedules.

Maintain covenant monitoring trackers and supporting documentation.

Assist internal teams to provide relevant inputs for debt covenant calculations and related reporting
Financial Controls, Audit & Compliance Support

Maintain proper documentation supporting accounting entries and reporting outputs.

Assist in ensuring financial reporting processes adhere to internal controls and governance frameworks.

Support internal and external audit processes by providing required financial information and supporting documentation.

Assist with preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit queries.

Ensure reporting is compliant with applicable accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP).
Process Improvement
-
Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and data accuracy.

Support automation or standardization initiatives within finance reporting processes.

Contribute to improving documentation and best practices within financial reporting and consolidation processes.

Chartered Accountant with 2+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience
-
Strong experience in financial statement preparation (US GAAP) and consolidation accounting
-
Ensures compliance with corporate financial standards and internal control requirements

Strong reconciliation and analysis skills
-
Advance Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint ability to work with new tools

Experience with Workiva and Workday financials is a plus

Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention-to-detail;

Education
-
A Chartered Accountant with 2+ years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
