As Analyst, Financial Reporting, Analysis & Controls, you'll play a key role in shaping Newmont’s financial story by supporting enterprise reporting, analyzing data trends, and ensuring accuracy in information shared with leadership and Investor Relations. Your work will help drive transparency, insight, and confidence in Newmont’s financial performance across the organization.
- Support the Director, Financial Reporting, Analysis and Controls in preparing consolidated reports and analyses for Investor Relations.

Assess data submissions and identify trends to provide meaningful insights and storylines.

Partner with Business Units, Internal Audit, and External Auditors to support SOX controls.

Create ad hoc reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to enhance decision-making.

Collaborate with FP&A and Finance teams to prepare presentations and communicate financial results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.

2 plus years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, or FP&A.

Strong knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and internal controls.

Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with ERP or reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Hyperion).

Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- You’ll be part of a dynamic and collaborative Finance team working in a hybrid environment. This role involves partnering across multiple business units and functions to deliver enterprise-level financial insights and reporting. Expect a mix of independent analysis and cross-functional teamwork in a supportive, purpose-driven culture.

The preferred location for candidates is near our corporate headquarters, in Denver, Colorado; however highly qualified candidates near our regional offices, or any of our site locations, will be considered.

Collaboration and interaction are expected with teams across the global, regional, and site organization, as well as across other service and operational areas of Newmont across multiple time zones.

The listed salary range applies to positions based in Colorado. Compensation will vary for candidates hired in other locations.
