Responsibilities:
Cordis Corporation is seeking a motivated and curious entry-level professional to join our Quality, Regulatory, Medical & Clinical Affairs (QRMC) organization. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience applying AI tools, automation platforms, data analysis, and basic engineering concepts to improve business processes. Working closely with experienced engineers and data scientists, you will support projects that streamline workflows, enhance compliance, and drive productivity through structured problem-solving and innovative technology adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Analysis & Improvement

Assist in evaluating current workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for structured improvements.

Contribute to the design and testing of AI-enabled and automated solutions with guidance from senior engineers and data scientists.
AI Tool Application & Automation

Support the application of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Azure AI services in day-to-day operations.

Assist in building simple automation workflows (using low-code/no-code platforms) to reduce manual tasks.

Participate in basic solution prototyping and iterative testing to ensure reliable results.
Data Analysis & Insights

Collect and organize data from ongoing projects.

Conduct basic analysis to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.

Help prepare simple dashboards and structured reports to communicate findings effectively.
Documentation & Reporting

Maintain clear and accurate records of AI, automation, and process improvement initiatives.

Assist in preparing presentations and project updates that summarize both technical and business outcomes.
Learning & Development

Stay current on trends in AI, automation, data analytics, and introductory engineering methods.

Develop foundational skills in systems thinking, problem-solving, and process design through mentorship.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree with no previous professional experience. Where required, the role must hold an appropriate degree in the industry (eg. Legal)
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Skills

Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot).

Exposure to automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, or similar) preferred but not required.

Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and tools (Excel, Power BI, or beginner-level Python/R).

Interest in learning how engineering methods can be applied to process improvement and automation.
