Job Description
The Analyst I is responsible for the accurate and timely execution of card scheme registrations and the preparation of mandatory compliance reports. This role involves data management and coordination with internal teams to ensure all merchant accounts are properly registered and compliant with global payment network rules. Analyst I serves as SME in PCI DSS compliance and supports internal stakeholders on related queries. Analyst I is responsible for supporting the Persistent Merchant Monitoring process, review and clear or remediate G2 content alerts.
Process End-to-end merchant registrations for schemes.
Data Validation: Review merchant documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission to the schemes.
List terminated merchants on the VISA [VMSS] and Mastercard [MATCH].
Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports to ensure data integrity and scheme requirements.
Persistent Merchant Monitoring: Review and clear or remediate G2 content alerts
Maintain reporting trackers, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
Assist with ad-hoc analysis and management information requests.
Learn and apply card scheme rules, internal controls, and compliance standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Good numerical and data-handling skills.
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, lookups; pivots an advantage).
Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines.
Willingness to learn and develop within a regulated environment.
Strong team player who collaborates effectively, communicates clearly and respectfully, fostering a trust-based and inclusive team environment.
