This role will be part of a team of information technology professionals responsible for monitoring a global network infrastructure including offices and internet data centers. This position requires technical proficiency, an eager attitude, professionalism, and solid communication skills.
Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and support a global log management and monitoring infrastructure

Investigate network and application anomalies using logs, alarms, APM solutions, TCP/IP traces, and captures

Document changes and author documentation on monitoring standards and practices

Design monitoring requirements in coordination with development and operations

Implement and support monitoring solutions across multiple datacenters

Serve as a point of contact for monitoring across the enterprise
Knowledge and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in CIS, engineering, or a related discipline

Knowledge of Linux, Python, Perl, Java scripting languages

Administration experience with Datadog, Dynatrace, AppDynamics or another APM solution

Certification in Splunk, ELK, or another logs tool

Strong data analysis skills and competence in MS Word and Excel

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to multitask and work independently on multiple projects
