Elevate is recruiting a
Legal Operations Analyst to join our team! The Analyst will work with the customer's technology and will follow detailed playbooks and processes to interface within the specific workstream assigned. The work is high-volume so the candidate must be organized and very good with juggling multiple matters of the same type at the same time. The ability to learn and adapt to the customer's technology is crucial. This individual will work on customer laptops.
This role will be part of a team that responds to high volume labor and employment requests/matters.
Specifically, the Legal Operations Analyst will- Handle high volume employment by collecting critical data through various customer systems.
- Set and maintain high standards of professional service.
- Assist with reporting, gathering metrics, and process improvements.
- Communicate with counsel.
- Interface with customer systems and custodians to ensure compliance with orders and gather discovery responses.
- Interface with broader team.
- Follow processes and playbooks.
- Review discrimination charges, employment demands, and related filings.
Experience- 2+ years of experience in US litigation.
- 2+ years of experience using technology in an area that is highly processed; preferably including experience handling subpoena responses and/or employment charges/demands.
- Experience in labor and employment law is preferred.
Skills for Success- Strong communication skills - able to professionally interface with customers and litigants' counsel and able to communicate issues directly to the internal manager rather than the customer.
- Ability to handle multiple matters at one time/strong organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle a high-volume of matters.
- Able to work with remote team members using technology (video calls, emails, team chats).
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to assist on other matters as time allows.
- Flexible and open to learning new areas as needed.
- Interested in working in a fast-paced environment with a company doing innovative things in the legal space.
Technical Skills- Experience with Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Excel/Outlook.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with web-based applications.
Qualifications- Bachelor's or associate degree required.
- Paralegal certificate is a plus but not required.
Compensation- The pay rate for this role is $70,000-$73,000/year based on job-related skills, experience, level, and location. In addition, Elevate offers full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package and PTO.
