What You’ll Be Doing
- Plan, book, and monitor shipments across air, sea, and land, continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery while learning and optimizing processes.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies, maintaining accurate records and streamlined documentation.
- Analyse freight spends, evaluate carrier performance, negotiate contracts, and identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvements.
- Track KPIs, generate performance reports, and proactively communicate insights to stakeholders, driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or a related field, with a mindset to continuously learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- 2–4 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, preferably within a manufacturing setting, with a focus on improving processes and efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and international shipping procedures, coupled with a curiosity to explore innovative logistics solutions.
- Proficient in logistics software (e.g., SAP & TMS platforms), with Power BI skills as an added advantage to analyze and optimize performance.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills, and the ability to multitask, adapt, and thrive under pressure while seeking continuous growth.
