Description

The Analyst - Planning & Strategy supports strategic and technical initiatives across the Customer Travel Experience (CTE) portfolio within Digital Technology, with a strong focus on operational coordination, financial tracking, resource management, and onboarding. This individual will partner closely with leadership, Finance, Project Teams, and cross-functional groups to ensure visibility, alignment, and progress across a wide range of efforts.

This role acts as a central operations point for the CTE team, with responsibilities including but not limited to:

Portfolio, Project & Team Enablement

  • Coordinate and manage weekly team accomplishments.
  • Coordinate and manage bi-weekly CTP Sync presentations.
  • Coordinate updates to internal training documentation and resource guides.
  • Manage CTP Resource File updates; work with senior managers to ensure team lists are accurate and manage locked sections.
  • Act as liaison for questions regarding project tools and team onboarding processes.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Lead PlanPlus coordination:
    • Financials: Add and route cost plans and IDEAS for Capex/Opex funding approval. Partner with Finance and Fixed Assets teams to validate funding structure. Coordination of project forecasting with each program/project manager related to their respective budgets.
    • Resource Management: Create tasks, assign resources, and coordinate updates to ensure alignment with Power BI reporting and analytics. Communicate changes to the CTE Analytics team.
  • Refresh Power BI financials weekly and update related funding documentation accordingly in conjunction with the CTE analytics team. Files are pulled from Actual Transactions in PlanPlus.
  • Update the CTP Funding spreadsheet after each refresh.
  • Maintain and update team resource rosters, including allocations, time tracking compliance, and contractor rosters.
Onboarding & Operational Support

  • Own onboarding process for contractors and FTEs:
    • Post jobs in Fieldglass/Taleo.
    • Maintain and update onboarding documentation.
    • Coordinate access, hardware, and software provisioning via Help Hub.
    • Add contractors to IDC and work with resource managers on adoption.
  • Manage timesheet compliance reporting, providing guidance and support to resolve submission issues. Send out weekly timesheet compliance reports and assist with Help Hub ticket creation if needed.
  • Maintain CTP distribution lists in Exchange and oversee access requests.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of professional experience in project coordination, business analysis, or technical operations
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organization, multi-tasking, and time management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, PlanPlus, Teams Planner, and JIRA
  • Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking ability
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Understanding of software development life cycles and project workflows
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Successful interview and punctual, reliable attendance are essential

Preferred

  • 1–3 years of airline industry experience
  • Degree in Communications, Marketing or Business preferred
  • Working knowledge of Power BI or experience supporting database dashboard updates

The base pay range for this role is $64,885.00 to $84,514.00.

The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
