The Team
Our Financial Services Consulting team partners with banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and fintechs to navigate complex challenges in a fast-evolving industry. We deliver strategic, operational, and technological solutions that drive growth, enhance risk management, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve customer experience. Combining deep industry knowledge with analytical expertise, we help clients transform their business models, optimize performance, and stay ahead of market trends. We are looking for an Associate Director to join in the financial services team. Considering the pace of targeted growth, we are keen to find a person who is entrepreneurial, driven by a passion to drive significant growth, is comfortable with ambiguity, will roll up the sleeves and be hands on to get things done and can be independent requiring limited cover.
How you will contribute-
Drive diligent execution of proposal and benchmarking priorities for global pursuits, ensuring high-quality, timely analytical support across deal teams

Lead end-to-end financial and operational benchmarking, analyzing KPIs such as revenue growth, margins, cost ratios, ROIC, cash flows, and working capital metrics to seize opportunities and strengthen proposal narratives

Conduct deep outside-in research using platforms such as CapIQ, investor filings, earnings transcripts, and industry reports to build sector views, peer landscapes, and competitive intelligence

Translate complex financial and qualitative insights into crisp exhibits and storylines, creating charts, benchmarks, and narratives that meaningfully enhance proposal quality

Support cross-industry performance diagnostics, conducting ratio analyses, trend analysis, and peer comparisons to generate actionable insights for proposal teams

Utilise GenAI and analytics tools to create structured COE solutions—standardized research modules, diagnostic templates, automated analyses, and insight-generation accelerators

Contribute to business development efforts by creating case studies, credentials, and thought leadership content that showcases the benchmarking and proposal strengths.

Individually uphold delivery excellence, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely support across all proposals while meeting established SLAs
Qualifications- 1-3 years of experience in business development pursuits, market strategy, or related analytics roles (in consulting or industry).

Proven experience in leading offshore or cross-functional teams, preferably in a global delivery or center of excellence setup

Strong proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, or Python; comfort working with large, complex data sets, and the ability to learn new tools. High proficiency in manipulating and validating data with strong attention to detail and possess strong ownership towards quality

Robust understanding of financial metrics, concepts and frameworks, supported by experience in peer benchmarking through CapIQ, industry reports, and competitive databas

Demonstrated ability to translate data into insights and construct clear, compelling business storylines.

Experience building and maintaining pricing assets and knowledge repositories (e.g., tools, dashboards, POVs, models, user documentation).

Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills—both written and verbal.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification is a plus

Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to establish credibility and influence clients

Ability to simultaneously work on several projects and effectively manage deadlines
