Overview:
The Risk Claims Analyst supports the Sr. Risk Manager and the Risk Department by managing and coordinating property, auto, and workers’ compensation claims while also assisting with insurance administration and reporting. This role serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and brokers to ensure timely claim handling, accurate reporting, and effective risk management support.

Responsibilities
Claims Management
  • Coordinate and manage property, auto, and workers’ compensation claims from initial reporting through resolution.
  • Assist the Risk team with claims-related communications, including coordinating with carriers, adjusters, and third-party administrators.
  • Track claim status, reserves, payments, and documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Aid in claims-related communications with carriers, adjusters, and third-party administrators, and coordinate the collection of claim documentation, incident details, and supporting materials.
Insurance Administration
  • Process and manage requests for Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and evidence of coverage.
  • Maintain and organize insurance documentation, including policies, endorsements, and coverage records.
Reporting & Broker Support
  • Prepare and provide reports to insurance brokers and carriers as needed, including:
    • New provider additions
    • Termed providers
    • Statement of Values
  • Support renewal processes by gathering required data and documentation for the Sr. Risk Manager’s review
Collaboration & Support
  • Partner with internal teams such as Maintenance, Construction, Real Estate, Finance, Safety, HR, and Operations to support claims and insurance-related needs.
  • Assist the Risk team with special projects, audits, and ad hoc reporting.
  • Help identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience in claims handling, risk management, insurance administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with property, auto, and workers’ compensation insurance lines.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred
  • Any other schooling or experience that is desirable in an excellent candidate.
