Marketing Campaigns are critical drivers of American Express strategy to acquire, engage and retain customers. Marketing teams across US need best in class tools and processes to enable flawless and timely delivery of their campaigns to unlock the value for our customers and prospects. The B2C Campaign Delivery targeting & segmentation team is responsible for delivering campaigns to US card members through merchant offers apart from being involved in assisting the marketing team with sizing analysis and data extraction.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Prior experience of Marketing Operations, MarTech, Execution, and/or Marketing a plus
· Consultation on campaign sizing and targeting segmentation to the client manager, marketing managers.
· Awareness on campaign life cycle and the role of different parties involved in delivering the campaign from conceptualization to market.
· Understanding of marketing concepts like creating test and control population for campaigns, direct marketing basics, Segmentation and Channel Strategy. The job also involves in working with other functional teams to access data elements, understand data being leveraged for campaigns and identify process improvement opportunities.
· From a technical perspective, the individual should have exposure to a campaign management tool like Smart Select or home-grown tool and strong knowledge of VBA, SQL and/or python.
· Proven track record of high-quality delivery, streamlining & driving process transformation.
· Work with technology partners to raise & resolve issues & ensure timely delivery of offers.
· Continue to meet the evolving needs of our Partners, Card Members, and Merchants.
· Adherence to all control and compliance requirements ensuring utmost quality, support PRSA & Internal Audits
Minimum Qualifications:
· Excellent knowledge of Segmentation, Targeting and Eligibility List generation process.
· In depth understanding of Campaign Management life cycle
· Experience on standard Campaign management tools.
· Good oral and written communication skills
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Equivalent combination of education, training, and directly related experience
· Strong experience in analytical ability including statistical analysis
· Comfortable with emerging technologies
· Displays cultural sensitivity; builds cross –cultural relationships and works effectively in a global environment.
