Analyst - RM Optimization

Job description:

Job Purpose:

The Analyst RM Optimization is responsible for supporting the revenue generation roadmap over a defined time frame by assisting with analytical activities related to network planning, capacity management and utilization, and proactive pricing updates. The role works closely with relevant departments to ensure effective coordination and communication.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Ensure that the highest possible margins are achieved on freighter and passenger flights.
  • Maintain and implement advanced, yield management techniques, and forecasting models to maximize revenue generation based on available capacities and Utilize data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Implement best-in-class technologies that support data-driven decision-making in revenue management.
  • Contribute to developing best practices and methodologies within the revenue management function.
  • Support rolling forecast, long terms optimization and budget sitting.
  • Assist in recommending freighter operation plans, including route adjustments, extra sector operations, and flight cancellations, to help maximize revenue opportunities and protect the Company’s profitability.
  • Assist in monitoring and updating ad hoc rate structures based on market demand, cargo capacity, and competitor pricing.
  • Review overbooking levels regarding latest trend of booking cancellation, no-shows, pickup demand etc. in/outbound KSA flights.
  • Assist in projecting weekly empty capacity and marketing initiatives to promote available capacity to ensure utilization.
  • Provide effective evaluation of capacity requests with alternatives.
  • Ensure release of Flight Booking List to Hub Operations team within agreed deadlines.
  • Support effective offload and re-booking management to help maintain a high FAB for SACC.
  • Support implementing new technologies and processes to drive efficiency and accuracy in revenue optimization efforts.
  • Execute Post Flight Analysis against forecasting to have a proper offload management along with capacity management as well as, ensure high yield on the flight.
  • Assist in managing the flow of AWBs and monitoring timely actions related to ad hoc pricing and space confirmation requests.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or related field.
  • A minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience in the same or similar field.
