Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Lead to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Cost Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis for our projects. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.

  • Develop and implement cost management strategies to ensure project financial success
  • Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for complex projects
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Create and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to optimize project costs
  • Conduct variance analyses and provide recommendations for cost control measures
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of cost databases and historical cost information
  • Prepare and present comprehensive cost reports to senior management
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in cost management practices
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cost management

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in cost management or related field
  • Professional certifications such as CCP (Certified Cost Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred
  • Proven expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis
  • Strong proficiency in cost management software (e.g., Oracle Primavera, MS Project) and advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in large-scale projects, preferably in construction, engineering, or manufacturing industries
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities to effectively manage teams and interact with stakeholders
  • Knowledge of industry-specific cost drivers and trends
  • Familiarity with local and international cost standards and regulations
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
