Investment Analyst

Job Summary:

SIAD Holding is seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join our Investment Department in Jeddah.

The role involves conducting in-depth financial and market analysis, identifying investment opportunities, and supporting the VP – Investment in evaluating potential projects and portfolio performance. The ideal candidate will have solid analytical capabilities, strong financial modelling skills, and a keen understanding of Saudi and regional markets.

Objectives of the Role:

• Conduct thorough financial and investment analysis of markets, industries, and companies to identify viable investment opportunities.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models and valuation reports for potential investments, projects, and assets.
• Monitor economic trends, market movements, and industry developments that impact the investment portfolio.
• Support the preparation and presentation of investment recommendations to the VP – Investment and senior management.
• Participate in the evaluation of acquisition targets, partnerships, and other strategic opportunities.
• Assist in building and rebalancing investment portfolios to optimize returns and manage risk.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Strategy) to support due diligence and decision-making processes.
• Maintain updated databases and dashboards for investment performance tracking and reporting.
• Build and maintain financial models to assess the valuation of stocks, bonds, and other assets.
• Identify investment opportunities based on both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Analyze financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and industry benchmarks.
• Perform valuation analyses using methods like discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), and precedent transactions.
• Gather and interpret macroeconomic data to inform investment strategies.
• Support due diligence processes for potential acquisitions or investment opportunities.
• Maintain and enhance databases of financial, market, and industry information.
• Prepare investment reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and clients.
• Evaluate the risk and potential return of various investment assets or portfolios.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies regarding investments and trading practices.
• Stay updated on economic trends, market news, and regulatory developments to anticipate investment risks and opportunities.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, financial modelling, or related areas, ideally with a financial consultancy or investment firm in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and investment analysis tools (Bloomberg, Power BI preferred).
• Good understanding of Saudi and regional financial markets and economic principles.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and perform valuation analyses across asset classes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills (English required, Arabic preferred).
• Self-driven, organized, and able to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
