Job Description
The Specialist Stakeholder Engagement plays a crucial role in managing and fostering relationships between an organization and its various stakeholders. The primary objective of the Specialist Stakeholder Engagement is to ensure that the interests and concerns of stakeholders are understood and addressed, thereby promoting positive and productive interactions. The Specialist Stakeholder Engagement is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining programs built to increase awareness / engagement of different stakeholder, communicate initiatives, manage concerns and resolve any grievances.
Responsibilities
Stakeholder Identification and Analysis:

Identify and map out key stakeholders relevant to the organization’s operations and projects.

Analyse stakeholder interests, influence, and potential impact on the organization.

Communication and Relationship Building:

Develop and implement communication strategies to engage with stakeholders effectively.

Foster strong relationships with stakeholders through regular interactions, meetings, and consultations.

Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder inquiries and concerns.
Engagement Planning And Execution

Create and execute stakeholder engagement plans that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.

Organize and facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, surveys and forums to gather input and feedback.

Ensure that stakeholder engagement activities are inclusive, transparent, and responsive to stakeholder needs.
Issue Resolution And Feedback Management

Address and resolve stakeholder issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.

Collect and analyse stakeholder feedback to inform decision-making and improve engagement strategies.

Communicate outcomes and actions taken in response to stakeholder feedback.
Reporting And Documentation

Maintain accurate records of stakeholder interactions, feedback, and engagement activities.

Prepare reports and presentations on stakeholder engagement efforts and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaboration And Coordination

Work closely with internal departments, Public Relations, Legal, NES, HR, and Corporate Governance to ensure cohesive stakeholder engagement efforts.

Collaborate with external partners, such as community organizations and government agencies, customers and suppliers to enhance stakeholder relations.

Assist the sustainability & ESG team manage projects and meet deadlines.
Continuous Improvement

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of stakeholder engagement strategies and activities.

Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices in stakeholder engagement.

Stay informed about industry trends and developments in stakeholder engagement.
Corporate Social Responsibility And Community Impact

Develop & implement social responsibility programs, ensuring positive contributions to communities where the company operates.

Oversee corporate philanthropy, employee volunteering, and community development programs to enhance social impact.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Social Science, Public Relations, or related field. A master’s degree is desired.

Minimum 7 years’ experience in stakeholder engagement, public relations, or corporate social responsibility, preferably within an ESG context.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using tools for stakeholder analysis and engagement metrics.

Proven track record of building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.

Deep understanding of oil and gas industry processes.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
