Karandaaz Pakistan (KRN) is a not-for-profit organization, based out of Islamabad, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017. The entity has been seeded by the Enterprise and Asset Growth Programme of the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and our digital finance initiatives are being funded by the Gates Foundation.

Analyst Talent Acquisition is a specialized role responsible for supporting the end-to-end recruitment process to attract and hire top talent for the organization. This role involves collaborating with departmental heads, developing recruitment strategies, managing the candidate experience, and maintaining recruitment metrics. The ideal candidate will have a background in talent acquisition, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement in hiring processes.
Talent Acquisition Strategy and Planning (30%)
- Support the Head of People Services in designing the Annual Staffing Plan for Karandaaz
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet the organization’s talent needs and ensure a strong talent pipeline.
- Collaborate with departmental heads/hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and create detailed job descriptions and specifications.
- Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive hiring practices.
Recruitment Process Management (40%)
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Utilize various sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural add for KRN.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and interview panels, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely feedback and maintaining clear communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Negotiate job offers and compensation packages within the approved budget, ensuring alignment with company policies and market standards.
- Categorize and organize files with a clear structure, using consistent naming conventions for easy access.
- Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires and consistently add value to ensure optimum candidate experience.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline the hiring process, implementing technology solutions to make the process more agile and efficient.
- Liaise with headhunting firms to source niche positions for the organization
- Provide recruitment facilitation to KRN subsidiaries as and when required
Employer Branding (20%)
- Enhance the employer brand by promoting the organization’s culture, values, and benefits to potential candidates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with universities, industry associations, and other talent sources to build a strong employer brand.
- Organize and participate in career fairs, recruitment events, and networking opportunities to attract top talent.
Metrics and Reporting (10%)
- Maintain the Recruitment Tracker and ensure it remains accurate and up-to-date for ready access of information.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction, to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on recruitment activities, progress, and outcomes for senior management, HR Committee and Board.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions to optimize the recruitment process.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of specialized experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a proven track record of successful hires.
- Demonstrated experience with automating recruitment processes and implementing technology solutions to enhance efficiency will have an added advantage.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and employment laws of Pakistan.
- Proficiency understanding of using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- Intermediate to expert level skill in Microsoft Office Suite
