As part of the Trade & Customs team, your job is to ensure that all import and export activities comply with applicable trade laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will play a key role in managing compliance risk, maintaining documentation, and supporting cross-functional teams across procurement, logistics, legal, and supply chain. Become a valued team member to our Trade & customs organization and add value in all areas of trade and customs operations like Country of Origin (CoO) Management, Free Trade Agreement and Harmonized Tariff System (HTS), shared services programs with the guidance of the Supervisors and Managers.

Our Team

We are 27 team members in Global supply chain, Center of Excellence team located in Bangalore. The Trade Compliance team is a critical part of our global supply chain and regulatory operations. We work closely with internal stakeholders-procurement, logistics, legal, operations-as well as external partners like customs brokers to ensure our company remains compliant with international trade regulations. Our team is detail-oriented, collaborative, and solutions-driven. We take pride in enabling global business while minimizing compliance risk. Whether it's navigating complex regulations, supporting audits, or optimizing customs processes, we work together to protect the company's integrity and ensure smooth cross-border operations.

What You Will Do

  • Perform accurate Country of Origin (COO) determinations based on manufacturing process, supplier data, and applicable regulations.
  • Apply Rules of Origin (ROO) and Substantial Transformation concepts to evaluate origin status.
  • Interpret and implement Preferential and Non-Preferential Rules of Origin for various countries and trade agreements (e.g., USMCA, EU, ASEAN, RCEP, etc.).
  • Classify materials using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and understand its connection to origin determination.
  • Validate and maintain supplier origin declarations, certificates of origin, and other supporting documentation.
  • Support FTA eligibility analysis and maintain compliance records for audit readiness.
  • Assist in internal trade compliance audits and provide data/documentation as required.
  • Stay updated on global trade regulation changes related to rules of origin and HTS updates.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Professional Experience of 1.5 - 4 years
  • Experience in determining Country of Origin, HTS Classification and Free Trade Agreements.
  • Contribution motivated mindset aligned to the organization culture
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (ECE / EEE preferred)
  • Open to work in Flexible Shifts

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Knowledge in SAP GTS module and SAP module.
  • Basics on Power point, Word and excel
