Analyst, Treasury Operations

Position Overview

The Analyst, Treasury Operations is responsible for supporting the Finance Team in maximizing the efficiency of the company’s financial controls while adhering to GAAP standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly cash flow forecast.
• Develop actual and forecast cash flow analysis.
• Plan and generate weekly vendor payments.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable operations. Ensure controls are in place and working as intended.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Provide CEO and CFO with key metric analysis related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Clear and report on customer accounts receivable deductions.
• Submit customer claims for repayment.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment application to customer accounts.
• Report to external auditors as required for accounts payable and accounts receivable testing.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience: 2 – 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or wholesale environment.
• Strong financial and analytical mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
• Conversant knowledge of GAAP standards.
