Job Summary:

Operational arm of data analytics. Power users who support the implementation of data governance decisions, maintain data quality documentation, and train end users on Analytics Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Supports data, compliance, and environment governance processes for the assigned domain. Facilitates an intake process for assigned domain to reduce rework and promote reuse of analytics solutions. Collaborates with peers to integrate data from warehouse, data lake and other source systems to build relevant models for use by the business. Cleanses data to ensure report accuracy and reduce data duplication, and maintain documentation of the cleansing process. Supports analytics projects to produce insights for the business to improve decision making, and delivers results using reports, business intelligence technology or other appropriate mechanisms. Supports business to establish and enforce guidelines and standards for data collection, integration and processes. Supports project work to ingest key data for assigned domain into the data lake, ensuring creation and maintenance of relevant metadata and data profiles. Assists stakeholders and business teams with finding necessary and relevant data when it is available. Participates in any relevant communities of practice promoting the responsible use of analytics. Coaches and assists business users in developing capability to conduct work in the analytics ecosystem. Assists with preparation of communications to leaders and stakeholders.

Data Modeling - Creates, writes and tests data models, test scripts and build scripts using industry standards and tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.

Data Communication and Visualization - Constructs a tale of the business problem, root cause, solution options, and opportunities through illustrating data visually, including reports and dashboards.

Data Literacy - Expresses data in context, including data sources and constructs, analytical methods and applied techniques; describes the use-case application and resulting value.

Data Profiling - Assesses data issues and cleansing requirements to perform data extraction, mapping, collection, and testing; establishes good, quality data.

Data Quality - Identifies, understands and corrects flaws in data that supports effective information governance across operational business processes and decision making.

Values differences - Recognizing the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university, or equivalent degree in relevant technical discipline, or relevant equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Minimal relevant work experience required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2–4 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python .
• Hands-on experience with Py Spark .
• Proficient in Databricks notebooks and job orchestration.
• Solid understanding of data architecture and solution design principles .
• Familiarity with Reliability concepts .
• Experience with performance tuning and debugging distributed systems .
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and data modeling concepts .
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins .
• Experience working in Agile environments .

This role is hybrid.
