Analytics Consultant

As an Analytics Consultant at EXL, you will play a key role in delivering data-driven consulting solutions that help clients make informed and strategic business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable insights, driving measurable impact across diverse industry sectors.

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and data needs across diverse industries.

· Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality, actionable analytics solutions.

· Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets and support data-driven decision-making.

· Lead, manage, and mentor small teams, providing direction and expertise in the field of data analytics.

· Develop and maintain advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

· Utilize Python for data manipulation, analysis, automation, and visualization.

· Apply machine learning techniques and statistical methods to enhance analytical outcomes and optimize business solutions.

· Design compelling dashboards, visualizations, and reports to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics frameworks, tools, and methodologies to drive efficiency and innovation.

· Good to have experience in pricing analytics, including price modeling, elasticity analysis, and revenue optimization

· Develop clear, structured, and visually engaging presentations to tell compelling data-driven stories and influence strategic decisions

Qualifications (Required):

· Bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas from a top tier university/college

· 8+ years of hands-on experience in data and analytics roles.

· Extremely proficient in SQL for robust data extraction and analysis.

· Extremely proficient in Power BI for developing visually engaging and insight-driven dashboards.

· Strong programming skills in Python.

· Intermediate expertise in Machine Learning concepts and applications.

· Excellent communication(written & verbal), problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

· Self-started and willingness to take on challenging initiatives

· Effective time management and attention to detail

· Proficient in storyboarding, Excel, and PowerPoint.
