Develop advanced forecasting models using statistical, machine learning, and hybrid techniques to address diverse business needs
Demonstrate strong expertise in statistical methods (e.g., ARIMA, Exponential Smoothing, regression-based models) and machine learning approaches (e.g., Neural Networks, Gradient Boosting, LSTM)
Fine-tune model assumptions, parameters, and components to drive improvements in predictive accuracy and overall performance
Adapt, configure, and optimize forecasting workflows for new datasets, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and continuous enhancement
Conduct rigorous backtesting, analyze deviations between actuals and forecasts, identify performance gaps, and iteratively refine models
Solve complex forecasting challenges through strong analytical reasoning, structured problem-solving, and model experimentation
Prepare, clean, transform, and structure datasets using Python and SQL to ensure high-quality inputs for forecasting workflows
Apply strong statistical foundations, including probability, sampling, hypothesis testing, decomposition, and anomaly detection
Address data quality issues such as missing values, outliers, scaling, transformations, and inconsistencies
Translate technical model outputs into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations for global partners
Communicate forecast results, key assumptions, risks, and scenario impacts using strong business storytelling
Collaborate closely with global, cross-functional teams to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment across time zones
Build and Strengthen the forecasting practice within GATE by establishing standard templates, reusable assets, methodologies, and best practices
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level analysts on forecasting techniques, analytical methods, and domain expertise
