Anchor Load Tester / Pull-Out Test Technician (QA/QC – Construction Projects)

Location: Initial assignment – Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), UAE

Salary: AED 2,900 – AED 3,500 (based on skills and experience)

Job Description

We are currently hiring 1–4 Anchor Load Tester / Pull-Out Test Technicians to support QA/QC activities on major construction projects in the UAE. The role involves carrying out field testing and verification of anchor systems in accordance with project specifications, engineering instructions, and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct anchor pull-out / load testing on site in accordance with approved procedures and specifications
• Perform testing for mechanical and chemical anchors used in structural and MEP installations
• Interpret and execute Engineering Instructions (EI) related to structural and MEP modifications
• Read and understand construction drawings, layouts, and shop drawings
• Carry out site inspections and verify installed anchor systems prior to loading tests
• Record, document, and report test results accurately for QA/QC submission
• Ensure all testing activities comply with project quality standards and safety requirements
• Coordinate with QA/QC engineers, site engineers, and consultants during inspections
• Prepare and maintain test reports, logs, and inspection documentation
• Use measurement and testing equipment required for pull-out testing
• Ensure traceability of tested elements and compliance with approved method statements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in anchor load testing / pull-out testing / QAQC field testing (construction environment preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and technical documentation
• Strong understanding of construction QA/QC procedures and site inspection processes
• Familiarity with Engineering Instructions (EI) and revision-controlled documentation
• Basic knowledge of structural fixing systems, anchors, and installation methods
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in test reporting
• Computer literacy is mandatory (MS Excel, MS Word for reporting and documentation)
• Ability to work independently on site and follow technical instructions
• Good communication skills for coordination with site teams and consultants

Preferred Requirements

• MOFA-attested degree/diploma (Mechanical / Engineering background preferred)
• Valid UAE Driving License (preferred but not mandatory)
• Prior experience in UAE construction projects is an advantage
