Android App Developer

Connect Technologies is seeking a skilled and passionate Android App Developer with expertise in utility apps, AI-based apps, and photo editing applications. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of professional Android development experience and a strong understanding of the Android platform, architecture, and ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Android Utility applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Integrate APIs and third-party tools into solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and continuously improve app performance.
• Participate in the full Android app development lifecycle, from planning to release.
• Engage in agile processes including sprint planning, estimation, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards across the team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK (5+) and Kotlin.
• Experience with MVVM or similar MV* architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Dependency Injection (Dagger2, Android architecture components).
• Strong UI/UX implementation skills.
• Knowledge of Git strategies, CI/CD setup, and automation.
• Experience with fast-paced development methodologies.
• Proven ability to deliver apps with excellent performance and user experience.
