Android Developer (1 - 3 Year of Experiences)

We are looking for an Android Developer with approximately 1 - 3 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining Android applications for a wide range of devices. Your primary focus will be building robust Android applications and integrating them with back-end services. You will collaborate closely with other engineers and developers across different layers of the infrastructure, so a strong commitment to teamwork, clean architecture, and high-quality code is essential.

Responsibilities

• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, efficient code.
• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code.
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve code stability.
• Maintain code quality, structure, and automation.

Skills & Qualifications

• 1- 3 years of experience in Android app development.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different Android versions, and screen size adaptations.
• Proficiency in integrating RESTful APIs to connect Android apps with back-end services.
• Solid understanding of Android UI/UX design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with sensors such as gyroscopes and accelerometers.
• Knowledge of open-source Android libraries and tools.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
• Strong skills in benchmarking and optimization.
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Proficient in version control tools such as Git and Azure DevOps.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of local databases like SQLite and RoomDB.
• Proficient in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with Facial Recognition and Optical Character Recognition (OCR).

Additional Requirement

• Proficient in building audio/video conferencing applications using the Janus WebRTC Media Server
