About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced AOSP Developer who can contribute to the design, customization, and optimization of Android at the framework and system level. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Android internals, HAL, and experience building or modifying AOSP components for various device platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Android system components using AOSP.
• Work on Android framework, system services, and application layers.
• Modify Android build systems and customize Android images for multiple devices.
• Integrate third-party hardware and software components into the Android platform.
• Debug and resolve OS-level performance, stability, and compatibility issues.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, QA, and application teams for seamless product integration.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Android Internals, AOSP build system, and Android Framework.
• Proficient in Java, Kotlin, and C/C++.
• Experience with HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) and Android system bring-up.
• Hands-on experience with custom ROM development, device tree, and Board Support Packages (BSPs).
• Familiarity with Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins for version control and CI/CD.
• Strong debugging skills and performance optimization expertise.
• Experience with Yocto, Linux kernel, or embedded systems.
• Knowledge of OTA updates, system security, and SELinux policies.
• Contributions to AOSP or other open-source Android projects (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
