Android Developer Intern

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Android Developer Intern who is eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in building Android applications. You will work closely with the tech team to support app development, backend integration, UI implementation, testing, and performance improvements.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Android App Development

• Assist in designing and developing Android applications using Kotlin.
• Support testing, debugging, and maintaining app functionality.
• Learn and follow Android development best practices.

2. Backend Integration

• Work with team members to integrate APIs and connect the app with backend services (Laravel/Node.js).
• Help in ensuring smooth and secure data flow between app and server.

3. UI/UX Implementation

• Collaborate with designers to convert UI/UX designs into functional app screens.
• Implement basic UI components and animations under guidance.
• Maintain consistency with Android design standards.

4. Code Quality

• Write clean and well-structured code with proper documentation.
• Participate in basic code reviews and follow coding guidelines.
• Learn to create and run unit and UI tests.

5. Performance Optimization

• Assist in identifying performance issues like slow loading or high memory usage.
• Support in improving app responsiveness and efficiency.

6. App Security

• Follow basic security practices while developing app features.
• Help in identifying and reporting potential security issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Internship or academic project experience in Android development is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Android development and Kotlin.
• Understanding of REST APIs and mobile UI design.
• Problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Internship Duration : 6 Months [Performance will be evaluated upon completion of the internship period. Based on the evaluation, a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) may be extended]

Stipend : 10,000 - 12,000 per month
