Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Per Diem Anesthesiologist to join our team at a modern endoscopy center. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort during procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative gastroenterology practice, contributing your expertise to a positive patient experience and successful clinical outcomes. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist with a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures.
• Conduct thorough pre-operative patient assessments to evaluate medical history and determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
• Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and physiological status, making real-time adjustments to anesthesia levels as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure a seamless and safe procedural experience.
• Manage post-anesthesia care, including providing effective pain management solutions.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program in anesthesiology.
• Board certification or active board eligibility in anesthesiology.
• Valid, unrestricted state medical license and current DEA/CDS certifications.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and physiology as it relates to anesthesia practice.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fellowship training in a subspecialty of anesthesiology.
• Experience in an ambulatory surgery center or outpatient endoscopy setting.
• Proficiency with advanced anesthesia techniques and technology.
