Key Responsibilities

  • Create and produce high-quality short-form and long-form video content including ads, stories, reels, explainers, banners, and social-first content.
  • Edit and produce engaging video / animation content for digital and social media platforms including META, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Animate static designs, illustrations, and campaign visuals to deliver compelling motion graphics aligned with brand and platform guidelines.
  • Should have know-how to use motion effects, transitions, kinetic text, sound design, and audio effects to elevate storytelling and viewer engagement.
  • Collaborate with designers, content creators, account managers, and marketing teams to understand campaign objectives and ensure content meets client expectations.
  • Conceptualize creative ideas, contribute to brainstorming sessions, and transform key messages into visually appealing animated or edited content.
  • Optimize animations and ideally videos as well for different formats, aspect ratios, and specifications across social and digital platforms.
  • Independently research and source clips/footage as required, producing multiple iterations until the final output meets creative standards.
  • Work efficiently under tight deadlines, managing multiple projects while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Stay up-to-date with animation trends, social media storytelling techniques, platform-specific best practices, and emerging digital tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communication, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of professional experience as a video editor in a digital-first advertising agency.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or relevant AI / Animation Tools.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics, typography, color grading, and audio editing.
  • Solid understanding of digital platforms, social media trends, and short-form storytelling.
  • Creative mindset with strong storytelling skills tailored for digital audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a portfolio demonstrating social/digital video work.
