Animator

Full-Time On-Site Rawalpindi, Pakistan

Mesh Square is looking for a creative and technically skilled Animator who can bring ideas to life through compelling motion design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality 2D animations and motion graphics for digital campaigns, social media, product interfaces, and brand storytelling.

You will work closely with the design and marketing teams to deliver frame-perfect, on-brand animated content that captivates audiences and enhances user engagement.

Job Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality 2D animations, motion graphics, and animated visual content for web, social media, digital advertising, and product UI.
• Collaborate with Graphic Designers, UI/UX Designers, and the Marketing team to transform static assets and creative briefs into engaging animations.
• Develop storyboards, animatics, and motion concepts to communicate narratives clearly before production begins.
• Create animated explainer videos, product walkthroughs, and branded social content aligned with Mesh Square’s visual identity.
• Design and implement micro-animations and UI motion for web and mobile applications using Lottie/Rive, ensuring smooth developer handoff.
• Optimize animation files for performance across web, mobile, and social platforms without compromising visual quality.
• Maintain consistency in motion language, timing, and easing by contributing to a unified Motion Design System.
• Stay updated with the latest animation trends, tools, and platform-specific best practices to continuously improve creative output.

Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of professional animation experience with a strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating 2D animation and motion graphics expertise.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, including keyframing, expressions, shape layers, masks, and compositing.
• Strong command of Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe Photoshop for preparing and rigging animation-ready assets.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing, sound synchronization, and final exports.
• Proficiency in Lottie (LottieFiles) for creating interactive UI micro-animations and web-ready motion exports.
• Strong understanding of animation principles including spacing, easing, anticipation, follow-through, and squash-and-stretch.
• Ability to work within brand guidelines and style frames to create consistent, high-quality motion content.
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong sense of visual rhythm, pacing, and storytelling through motion.
• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Motion Design, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
