ANM nursing

The ANM will provide basic nursing care, maternal and child health services, assist doctors and staff nurses, and ensure proper patient care as per hospital/healthcare center standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities.
  • Support maternal and child health services, including antenatal, postnatal, and newborn care.
  • Assist doctors and senior nurses during procedures, treatments, and minor surgeries.
  • Maintain cleanliness, infection control, and proper hygiene in the assigned ward/unit.
  • Educate patients and families on health, nutrition, hygiene, and immunization.
  • Ensure proper documentation of patient records, treatment charts, and reports.
  • Assist in community health programs, vaccination drives, and outreach services if required.
  • Handle medical equipment carefully and report any faults immediately.
  • Follow hospital protocols, ethical standards, and patient confidentiality norms.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • ANM diploma/course (recognized by Nursing Council).
  • Registration with the State Nursing Council.
  • Basic knowledge of nursing procedures and first aid.
  • Good communication and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
  • Compassionate, disciplined, and responsible.

Work Conditions:

  • Rotational shifts (day/night as per duty roster).
  • May involve community visits and field duties depending on organizational requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
