$10,000 Sign on Bonus for eligible new employees joining UW Medicine.

Harborview Medical Center has an opportunity for an Assistant Nurse Manager to lead the Neuro team. The Assistant Nurse Manager will provide direct nursing care, train and manage staff, spearhead quality improvement initiatives, and ensure safe patient care practices.

UNIT DESCRIPTION

  • The OR is staffed 24 x 7
  • Performs over 17,000 cases per year
  • 25 individual OR suites
  • Support 13 different surgical specialties
  • Perioperative nurses are dedicated nurses who fulfill roles in scrubbing and circulating

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    (not limited to)
  • Assists the Nurse Manager in developing, evaluating, and maintaining daily operations in the unit.
  • Provides leadership for clinical and administrative functions and acts as a clinical resource for staff.
  • Assist with the planning and/or implementation of educational programs for staff.?
  • Promotes effective communication among staff and patients and takes necessary steps toward problem resolution.
  • Serves as the unit-charge nurse, as assigned.

    SCHEDULE
  • 40 hours per week, day shift.

    REQUIREMENTS
  • Have a Washington State Registered Nurse License or MSL to practice.
  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
  • 2 years of current or Surgical nursing experience including scrub and circulate
  • Charge Nurse, leadership or supervisory experience

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$98,448.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$178,824.00 annual

Other Compensation:

BSN (or higher) premium - $1.00/hour
Certification premium - $1.25/hour
Overtime pay
$10,000 Sign on Bonus/Relocation
Weekend Shift Differential $4.00/hour
