Scope of Work - Lifeguard Services

Manpower: Lifeguard (male) - 2 NOS

Schedule: 24 Hours (12 hrs each shift) - 7 days a week

Working Post: Swimming Pool

General Terms and Requirements

The vendor confirms to undertake all relevant government authorities licenses, permissions, and consents required to perform the services, and to perform all of its obligations under this agreement.

Training or any certification required in compliance with relevant authorities for the lifeguard shall be the responsibility of the contractor.

Responsibilities

• Enforce all pool rules in a consistent manner.
• Administer first aid and CPR as required.
• Keep watch and guard of the swimming pool area.
• Monitor chemical levels and ensure proper usage of chemicals within the next hour.
• Ensure the guest lockers area is clean.
• Ensure the guest showers area is clean.
• Ensure that kids use the swimming pool with a family member.
• Implement closing of the swimming pool.
• Protect life and property.
• Be alert and prevent accidents (risk management).
• Handle discipline situations with courtesy and fairness.
• Respond quickly, intelligently, decisively, and in accordance with established emergency procedures.
• Patrol on foot throughout all swimming pool areas.
• Enforce client policies and regulations in an effective, courteous, and sensitive manner.
• Provide rapid response to safety, first aid, medical, environmental health, and other emergencies in the property.
• Support the crime prevention function.
• Respond to calls for assistance or service.
• Prepare and submit reports containing required and pertinent information in a timely and efficient manner to the authorities.
• Be on the lookout for potential troublemakers and be proactive.
• Report faults & failures to the Second Party's Representative and follow up on rectification measures as directed.
• Cooperate with maintenance representatives like plumbing, electricity, etc., for repair and rectification.
• Check all materials removed from the site ensuring they have written permission from the authority.

• Maintain Swimming Pool Visitor Logbook.
• Maintain swimming pool maintenance Logbook.
• Maintain a record of quality check of swimming pool water.
• Maintain a record of pH level and chlorine level of swimming pool water.

Safety Policy

Work force shall be provided with proper uniform, hand gloves, face mask, and other safety equipment to be used while on duty.

The vendor is solely responsible for any liability that may arise due to injury sustained by its employees during the course of their work under this agreement.
