About the Role
We are hiring an AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) Associate who is passionate about the future of search - especially AI tools, LLMs, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

This role goes beyond traditional SEO and focuses on improving brand visibility across AI search engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Copilot. You will be researching how answer engines think, how they rank information, and how content can be structured to appear in LLM-generated responses. This is a hands-on, experimental role where you’ll help shape Datastraw’s AEO strategy from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research AI search platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot) to understand answer patterns and ranking signals
  • Identify AEO opportunities and recommend strategies to improve brand visibility in AI-generated responses
  • Create structured, answer-first content (Q&As, definitions, lists, fact boxes, summaries) optimized for LLM consumption
  • Support semantic and entity optimization to improve model interpretation of brand information
  • Run experiments to test how LLMs reference, respond to, or hallucinate brand-specific details
  • Analyze competitors across AI search engines and traditional SEO
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine content and AEO guidelines
  • Stay updated on trends in AEO, GEO, LLM behavior, and emerging AI tools

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in SEO, content, digital marketing, or AI research
  • Strong curiosity about AI tools, LLMs, and the future of search
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to simplify complex topics
  • Analytical and research-driven mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup with high ownership
  • Familiarity with SEO tools (Search Console, GA4, Surfer, SEMRush) is a plus
  • Must be able to work hybrid from Ghatkopar West, Mumbai (4 days Work from Office & 2 days Work from Home)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
