Anticipated Long Term Substitute Teacher - MS/HS ELA

Geneseo Central School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic long-term substitute (LTS) teacher to join the Middle/High School ELA Team starting January 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plans an instruction program that meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of students
• Creates an environment that is conducive to learning
• Employs instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for supporting students with meeting state standards
• Collaborates with colleagues, students and families on a regular basis and works cooperatively with the English department

• Valid NYS Teaching Certification
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students
