Anticipated Teacher: Special Services

Rutland Northeast Supervisory Union is seeking enthusiastic, innovative, and collaborative professional to fill a long-term Special Educator vacancy, anticipated to run approximately from November 12 to December 19, 2025.Please note that pay, benefits, and contract terms will be determined based on the actual number of days worked, which will be finalized once a confirmed start date is established.Successful applicants will have experience as a special educator in a public school setting, as well as experience with case management and community engagement. The following qualifications are required: Bachelors Degree with a concentration in special education Must hold or be eligible for a VT Agency of Education License as Special Educator, grades 9-12The following are preferred: Demonstrates knowledge of human development including implementation of a variety of delays, disorders, and disabling conditions for learning and development Knowledge of appropriate procedures and strategies for identifying the needs and supporting the learning and development of individuals with special needs.
