We are seeking a Pune, India based Varicent ICM Lead Developer to join our Finance Technology team in Global Technology & Operations.
The candidate will be involved in designing, implementing, and maintaining the Varicent ICM solution for our Private Wealth Sales Compensation teams. This is a high-visibility solution that services our Private Wealth Sales teams. The role requires interaction with the Private Wealth Sales Compensation administration team, service providers, and Finance Technology team members. Varicent ICM is our platform for Private Wealth Sales Compensation, and the candidate will be required to learn its implementation, as well as optimize, enhance, and support it.
The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Design, implement, configure, and maintain the Varicent ICM solution.
Collaborate with business clients and other Finance technology onshore/offshore team members.
Build and maintain reports in Varicent.
Build new calculations and modify existing calculation configurations based on the requirements or changes in compensation plans.
Work with Business directly on feature requests and change requests.
Solicit and clearly document business requirements to be developed by yourself/team.
Interface with other development teams as required.
Comply with departmental processes and procedures while strictly adhering to standard firmwide SDLC policies.
Support, maintain, and document application functionality, software testing and quality assurance.
Participate in design/code reviews and project planning.
Ensure key technical and implementation risks are understood and addressed.
Willing to learn new technologies and methodologies related to software development.
Qualifications, Experience, Education, Skill:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience on Varicent ICM applications
3+ years of designing experience on ICM Varicent applications
Strong experience in creating all types of calculations, work with webforms, presenter reports and workflows, user configuration, task manager for user assignment, scheduler, imports and publications
Solid logical, analytical, design, and programming skills coupled with experience supporting multiple environments
Candidates should have strong communications skills and should be able to communicate with the business users
MS SQL Server or any database development skill set is highly preferred
Experience working on database applications with batch processing is preferred
Ability to work and communicate effectively across diverse technical and business teams
Client service oriented
