A&P Mechanic

Red Eagle Aviation is seeking a skilled A&P Mechanic that is dependable with a strong emphasis on reliability, safety, and operational readiness. REA is a growing operation that supports a mixed fleet operating under Part 91, Part 135 and soon to be Part 145.

Duties:

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on aircraft to ensure they are in safe and working condition.

- Perform 100hr and Annual inspections.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

- Repair or replace faulty components using proper tooling and references

- Conduct tests and inspections to identify any potential problems or areas of improvement.

- Follow technical manuals and diagrams to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.

- Keep detailed records of all maintenance work performed on each aircraft.

- Coordinate with other mechanics and technicians to ensure timely completion of tasks.

- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and functions.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems in aircraft.
- Previous experience (1-3 years of General Aviation Experience). Piston experience is highly preferred.

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
