Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist – Contract

Location: Denver, CO (Onsite)

Pay: $30.00-$35 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract opportunity supporting one of our Denver-based clients.

About the Role

This role will play a key part in supporting the implementation of a new Accounts Payable system (Ramp). The primary focus will be helping the finance team set up and optimize the platform by coding invoices, mapping expenses, and validating financial data during the system transition.

This is an excellent opportunity for an AP professional who enjoys system implementation, process improvement, and hands-on accounting work in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and setup of the Ramp AP platform
• Code and map invoices to appropriate GL accounts to help train the platform’s AI automation
• Assist with data validation and migration as the team transitions systems
• Review invoices and financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Participate in testing workflows and financial processes within the new system
• Provide additional accounting and system support as needed during implementation

Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Payable experience required
• Ramp software experience is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a project-based environment supporting system changes
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a finance team

Contract Details

The expected duration is through the first week of May, though the assignment will likely operate week-by-week depending on project progress and system implementation needs.
