Accountant – Accounts Payable (Saudi Nationals Only)
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are currently hiring an Accountant – Accounts Payable to join a major transport operator in Riyadh, supporting one of the Kingdom’s most high-profile mobility projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Saudi national looking to join a growing organisation operating at scale, with structured processes, high transaction volumes and strong governance standards.

The Role

As Senior Accountant – AP, you will take ownership of the full Accounts Payable function, ensuring accurate processing, compliance, and timely reporting.

You will work closely with Finance leadership, Procurement and Operations to ensure strong financial controls and smooth supplier management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable process (invoice verification, posting, reconciliation, payment runs)
• Review and approve high-volume invoices and supplier statements
• Ensure VAT compliance and accurate tax documentation
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies and payment queries
• Work within ERP systems (Oracle experience highly preferred)
• Support audit preparation and documentation

Requirements

• Saudi National (mandatory)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable / Financial Accounting
• Strong ERP experience (Oracle preferred)
• Experience in high-volume, structured environments
• Excellent Excel and reporting skills
