AP Specialist

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Ipswich, MA that is seeking an AP Specialist. Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices accurately and ensure timely payment
• Manage a moderate to high volume of invoices on a weekly basis
• Monitor and respond to inquiries in a shared accounts payable inbox
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoice status, discrepancies, and payment issues
• Track, document, and follow up on vendor communications
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements
• Support month-end close and reporting activities
• Prioritize payments based on business needs and deadlines
• Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with internal procedures
  
  

Requirements

• Hands-on accounts payable experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accountability, ownership, and follow-through
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency with accounts payable systems or invoice processing tools
• Experience working within an ERP system (any ERP)
• Business maturity and professional judgment in vendor interactions
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
