Join our dynamic finance team as an AP/AR/Payroll Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes with precision and enthusiasm. Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers using accounting software
- Handle accounts receivable activities by invoicing clients, tracking payments, and reconciling customer accounts efficiently
- Maintain accurate payroll records, process employee payments via ACH, and ensure compliance with tax regulations and payroll laws
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data
- Prepare journal entries for various accounting transactions including debits & credits, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
- Assist with budgeting processes and generate financial reports that support decision-making across departments
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage 100.
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles including GAAP and governmental accounting standards
- Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting
- Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, bank reconciliation
- Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately for data entry tasks
- Excellent understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, account analysis, and financial report writing
- Experience with bookkeeping tasks such as balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
